Version 2.0
Last Updated: March 26, 2026

Welcome to the BikeCrew Community
BikeCrew brings together cyclists and motorcyclists from around the world. Whether you ride for adventure, fitness, commuting, or just for the love of the road, you are part of a global community of riders.
These Community Guidelines help us promote a space where everyone is encouraged to feel welcome and respected. By using BikeCrew, you agree to follow these guidelines in all your interactions — in chats, on user-organized rides, in crews, and everywhere else on the platform.
Nature of the Platform
BikeCrew is a technology platform that enables users to connect with one another. BikeCrew is not a tour operator, travel organizer, event organizer, or transportation provider.
Rides, meetups, and interactions are created and conducted solely by users. BikeCrew does not organize, control, supervise, or participate in these activities.
Our Core Values
Respect
Treat every rider the way you would want to be treated. We come from different backgrounds, ride different vehicles, and have different skill levels — and that diversity makes our community stronger.
Safety
Be mindful of your own safety and the safety of others. BikeCrew does not provide safety supervision or guarantees. Each user is responsible for their own actions and well-being.
Honesty
Be genuine. Represent yourself truthfully, share accurate information, and communicate openly with other members.
No Reliance on Guidelines
These Community Guidelines are provided for informational and community purposes only. They do not constitute safety instructions, professional advice, or a guarantee of user behavior.
You acknowledge that you must not rely on these Guidelines for your personal safety or decision-making. You remain solely responsible for your own actions, safety, and interactions with other users.
BikeCrew is not obligated to enforce these Guidelines in any particular case.
Community Standards
Be Respectful in All Interactions
- Communicate with kindness and consideration
- Be patient with riders who have different experience levels
- Accept that people may have different opinions, riding styles, and preferences
- Give constructive feedback rather than criticism
- Respect boundaries — if someone is not interested in connecting, accept that gracefully
No Harassment, Hate, or Threats
BikeCrew has zero tolerance for:
- Harassment: Repeatedly contacting someone who has asked you to stop, stalking, intimidation, or any unwanted behavior that makes others uncomfortable
- Hate speech: Attacking or demeaning others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Threats: Making threats of violence, harm, or any other threatening statements
- Bullying: Mocking, belittling, or targeting individuals in a harmful way
- Discrimination: Excluding or treating others unfairly based on who they are
Everyone deserves to feel welcome here.
No Scams, Spam, or Impersonation
- Do not attempt to defraud, deceive, or mislead other users
- Do not send unsolicited commercial messages or advertisements
- Do not promote pyramid schemes, fraudulent services, or suspicious links
- Do not impersonate other people, brands, or organizations
- Do not create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
- Do not use BikeCrew to solicit money from other users under false pretenses
Keep Content Appropriate
Your profile and any content you share should be suitable for our diverse community:
- Profile photos: Use clear, appropriate images that represent you. No nudity, sexually suggestive content, or offensive imagery
- Vehicle photos: Share genuine photos of your bikes and motorcycles. Do not use images that are not yours without permission
- Messages and posts: Keep all communications respectful and appropriate for a general audience
- No explicit content: Sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or disturbing content is not permitted
- No illegal content: Do not share or promote anything that violates the law
Use Chat and Messaging Responsibly
Our messaging features are meant to help you connect with other riders:
- Use chat to coordinate user-organized rides, get to know fellow riders, and build community
- Do not send unwanted or inappropriate messages
- Do not harass others through direct messages, group chats, or ride chats
- Do not share personal contact information of others without their consent
- Do not use messaging to sell products, promote services, or spam users
- Remember that messages may be reviewed for safety and moderation purposes
Follow Local Laws and Traffic Rules
When you ride — whether alone or with others from BikeCrew:
- Obey all traffic laws, speed limits, and road regulations in your area
- Do not encourage or organize rides that involve illegal activities
- Do not share routes that intentionally include prohibited or dangerous roads
- Do not promote reckless riding, street racing, or any unsafe behavior
- Wear appropriate safety gear and ride within your skill level
- Respect private property and do not trespass
Your safety and the safety of others on the road is paramount.
Organizing and Joining Rides
All rides and meetups on BikeCrew are user-organized. BikeCrew does not organize, host, manage, or supervise any rides or events.
If you organize or participate in a ride:
- You do so independently and at your own risk
- You are solely responsible for your own safety, decisions, and conduct
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- You must make your own assessment of other participants, routes, and conditions
BikeCrew is not responsible for any aspect of rides or meetups, including planning, execution, participation, or outcomes.

Moderation Decisions
All moderation decisions are made at BikeCrew's discretion. We do our best to enforce these guidelines fairly and consistently, but we reserve the right to make final decisions about what content and behavior is permitted on the platform.
BikeCrew does not guarantee that these Community Guidelines will be enforced in all cases or that violations will be detected, reviewed, or acted upon.
